I've been tattooing for nearly two decades.
Like many artists, I entered the industry young, with no formal education, no roadmap and no clear understanding of what separated great tattoo artists from average ones.
What I found was a broken industry full of conflicting opinions. Every shop had different rules. Every mentor had different advice. Every artist had their own way of doing things.
The deeper I got into tattooing, the more confusing it became. I assumed the best artists had access to some secret knowledge that everyone else was missing.
But over time, I realized something surprising. Many artists, including some of the artists I admired most, were still making fundamental mistakes.
Then answer wasn't hidden techniques. It wasn't talent. And it definitely wasn't luck. The answer was understanding the principles that actually govern tattooing.
That realization changed everything.
For years, I became obsessed with one question:
What actually makes tattoo artists great?
I studied artists. I read countless books. I took notes. I experimented relentlessly. I tested ideas in real sessions. I analized my successes, my failures and everything in between.
What I discoveered was that tattooing wasn't nearly as complicated as people made it seem.
In fact, most of the complexity was getting in the way. The breakthrough came when I stopped trying to learn more and started trying to simplify.
I begin stripping tattooing down to its most essential components. The few variables that actually control the outcome. The principles that remain true regardless of style, machine, technique, or trend.
Once I understood those principles, everything became easier. Troubleshooting became easier. Consistency became easier. Growth became easier. Most importantly, I was finally able to create great work consistently instead of hoping things would turn out the way I wanted.
And that's why I created TATTOOSKUUL.
Because over the years I've seen too many artists struggle unnecessarily. I've seen talented artists spend years spinning their wheels because nobody gave them a clear path.
I've seen clients lose confidence in tattooing after receiving poor work from artists who simply lacked proper guidance. And I've watched an industry I love become increasingly crowded with information but desperately lacking in clarity.
My mission is simple:
My goal is to level the playing field so every artist, no matter where they start, has equal opportunity to create incredible work, build a meaningful career, and elevate the craft we all love to unprecedented levels.
TATTOOSKUUL wasn't built to teach you how to copy me.
It was built to help you understand the principles well enough to think through your own process, solve your own problems, and continue growing long after the course is over.
Because great tattooing isn't built on tricks. Its built on principles.

For artists who are serious about leveling up their craft
and building a career they are proud of

You are committed to getting better and want real, noticeable improvement in your tattoos.
You value quality, strong fundamentals, and understand that mastery is what sets you apart.
You're open-minded, coachable, and willing to challenge your current current assumptions.
You want a clear roadmap to create better tattoos, every time.
You're thinking long-term and want to build a career in tattooing with real integrity and stability.
You want to learn from a Master with nearly two decades of real-world tattooing experience.
You want to improve your designs, business, marketing, and overall career. (these systems will be added as additional courses.)
You want reliable methods that have helped countless artists improve their work and their profession.
You take pride in your craft and feel a strong responsibility to your clients and the experience you deliver.
You understand that improvement requires deliberate practice, consistent effort, and willingness to do the work.
While beginners are welcome, TattooSkuul is designed around real-world application. To get the most from these systems, you should have access to proper equipment and opportunities to tattoo real skin. We believe genuine growth happens through application, feedback and experience, not theory alone.

If you want quick trick, hacks, or "secret techniques" to get good fast, this is not the system.
If you are not willing to put in the work, practice, and take responsibility for your progress, this is not for you.
If you are not open to feedback or think you already know everything, this is not for you.
If you blame clients, equipment, social media, or circumstances for your lack of progress, this is not for you.
If you tattoo just for money and have no real passion or respect for the craft or your clients, this course is not for you.
If you make other people feel bad for not being at your level. We don't tolerate bullies or condescending personalities.
If you are not the type of person who follows through and sees things through to the end, this is not for you.
If you are not willing to spend 30 mins to 1 hour a day dedicated to learning and improving, this is not for you.
If you don't want to do the exercises, drills, and assignments inside the courses, this course is not for you.
If you are willing to stay humble, put in the work, and commit to continuous improvement, you'll fit right in.

If you apply the methods and don't see real improvement, we'll refund your enrollment. No hassle. No questions asked. Your success is our mission

PRE-ENROLLMENT NOTICE: This is a pre-enrollment offer. The Solid Tattoo Application course will be delivered on September 19th, 2026. All other systems will be released over time.
I don't think you should trust anyone blindly, and that's why I've tried to be as transparent as possible about what we're building, what we're teaching, and what we're offering. But let me ask you a question. If you decided to climb a mountain, would you want guidance from someone who has spent twenty years climbing mountains? What if they had spent twenty years climbing the exact mountain you're trying to climb? Wouldn't you want them to show you where the dangers are, which routes lead nowhere, what mistakes to avoid, and what actually works? That's essentially what I'm offering you. If you look at my work and see the kind of artist you'd like to become, think of that work as the destination. I've already walked that path. I've made the mistakes, taken the wrong turns, wasted time on things that didn't matter, and spent years figuring out what works, what doesn't, and why.
My job isn't to walk the path for you because nobody can do that. You still have to put in the work, practice the skills, and develop as an artist. My role is simply to help you avoid unnecessary detours, shorten the learning curve, and provide guidance from someone who has already traveled the road you're currently on. TattooSkuul isn't a shortcut. It's an experienced guide.
The courses inside TattooSkuul are designed to teach the foundational principles that govern tattooing. We cover everything from lining and shading to color theory, design, composition, and eventually more advanced subjects. Technically, anyone interested in tattooing can benefit from the material, but the students who will get the most value are artists who are already tattooing or have access to equipment and opportunities to practice. We believe there is a big difference between learning about tattooing and actually tattooing real skin. Because of that, we cannot guarantee success for someone who has never tattooed before. Our courses are primarily designed for artists who are currently tattooing and want to improve the quality of their work, whether they've been tattooing for one year or ten. The most important factor is your ability to apply what you learn through real-world practice.
Not necessarily, but it will help significantly. Tattooing is ultimately a hands-on skill, and while you'll learn valuable concepts regardless of your experience level, the artists who improve the fastest are the ones who can immediately apply what they're learning. If you're not currently tattooing but have access to equipment and opportunities to practice, you'll still benefit from the course. However, if you're only working on fake skin, your progress may be limited because fake skin simply doesn't behave the same way real skin does.
No. Great equipment helps, but understanding the fundamentals is far more important. There are three major pieces of equipment that directly affect your results: needles, ink, and machines. Of those three, needles and ink are the most important and should always be high quality. While a professional machine can make tattooing easier and more efficient, Chris will actually demonstrate certain concepts using affordable machines to prove that knowledge and technique matter more than expensive equipment. That said, investing in quality supplies is always encouraged because they directly impact the final result.
The course is completely self-paced, so you can move through it according to your schedule. The most important factor is consistency. I would rather see you dedicate 30 minutes every day than spend five hours one weekend and then disappear for a month. Tattooing is a skill that compounds over time. The artists who improve the fastest are usually not the most talented, but the most consistent. Create a schedule that works for you and stick to it.
Absolutely. In fact, TattooSkuul can be one of the best supplements to a traditional apprenticeship. Most shop owners are balancing tattooing, running a business, and mentoring artists at the same time, which means they may not always have unlimited time to teach. TattooSkuul provides a structured learning system that can help accelerate your development while you continue learning inside your shop. If you have access to equipment and opportunities to tattoo, this course can help you develop much faster.
Yes. One of the most surprising discoveries from our survey was that artists across every experience level identified application as one of their biggest challenges. Many artists spend years tattooing without ever fully understanding the principles behind what they're doing. If you feel like there's a gap between where you are and where you want to be, TattooSkuul can help close that gap. The key is staying open-minded and being willing to challenge old assumptions. Experience can be an advantage, but only if you're willing to continue learning.
Time alone doesn't create mastery. Some artists spend ten years improving while others spend ten years repeating the same habits. The goal of TattooSkuul is to help you understand the principles behind successful tattooing so you can identify weaknesses, make better decisions, and continue improving regardless of how long you've been in the industry. Even experienced artists develop blind spots, and sometimes a small shift in understanding can create a massive improvement in results.
You will receive access immediately after enrolling. As soon as you join, you'll gain access to the private community, weekly live Q&A sessions, and the full 3-hour Super Mario Realism Tutorial with commentary. The Solid Tattoo Application System is currently in development and is scheduled to launch on September 19th, 2026. This is a presale, which means you're securing your lifetime access before the full system is released. Every future course included in the offer will be delivered to your account as it is completed.
You have lifetime access. Once you join, you'll have access to everything included in your membership for as long as TattooSkuul exists. There are no recurring fees, no subscriptions, and no expiration dates.
You have lifetime access. Once you join, you'll have access to everything included in your membership for as long as TattooSkuul exists. There are no recurring fees, no subscriptions, and no expiration dates.
Yes. You can access TattooSkuul from your phone, tablet, laptop, or desktop computer. As long as you have an internet connection, you'll be able to access your courses, community, recordings, and resources from anywhere.
Absolutely. There are no deadlines and no required schedule. You can move through the material as quickly or as slowly as you'd like. That said, consistency is extremely important. The artists who see the best results are the ones who commit to a regular learning schedule and consistently apply what they're learning.
The TattooSkuul community is designed to bring together serious artists who want to improve their craft and build successful careers. Inside the community, you'll be able to ask questions, share your work, receive feedback, and connect with like-minded artists from around the world. Chris Sage will be actively involved in the community, answering questions and helping guide discussions. We encourage constructive feedback, mutual respect, and a culture of growth. The goal is to create an environment where everyone is focused on improving and helping one another succeed.
Every week, Chris Sage will host a live group Q&A session where students can ask questions, discuss challenges, and receive guidance on technical, artistic, and career-related topics. These sessions are designed to help students get unstuck and receive direct feedback on issues they're currently facing. Founding Partners will receive priority consideration during these calls, but all members will have opportunities to participate.
Yes. Every live Q&A session will be recorded and added to the community library so you can watch it whenever it's convenient for you. Even if you can't attend live, you'll still have access to all of the information, discussions, and feedback shared during the call.
Absolutely. One of the biggest benefits of joining TattooSkuul is direct access to guidance and support. You'll be able to ask questions inside the community and during live Q&A sessions. We encourage students to participate because many of the biggest breakthroughs happen through discussion, feedback, and problem-solving together.
The simple answer is because you're helping us build TattooSkuul from the ground up. As a Founding Member, you're joining before the flagship course has been completed and before we have the testimonials, case studies, and proof that will come from our first wave of students. In many ways, you're placing your trust in our vision. Your support helps us fund production, build our team, improve the platform, and create the educational systems we have planned for the future. Because you're taking that leap of faith with us, we believe you deserve to be rewarded in a major way. That's why Founding Members receive lifetime access to everything included in this offer at a price that will never be available again.
Once enrollment closes, this offer disappears. Our focus will shift toward delivering the Solid Tattoo Application System, supporting our founding students, and continuing development of future systems. As the courses are completed and students begin getting results, future versions of these programs will be sold separately to the public at significantly higher prices. Founding Members are getting access at the earliest stage of the company's development, and with that comes benefits that future students will never have access to.
Yes. The Solid Tattoo Application System alone is expected to sell for $1,297 once it is released to the public. That's just the first system. Founding Members are receiving lifetime access not only to that course, but also to every future core system included in this offer. As TattooSkuul grows and the curriculum expands, the value of the membership will continue to increase while your investment remains the same.
Founding Members are more than customers. They're helping shape the future of TattooSkuul. Your questions, struggles, feedback, and experiences will directly influence the courses we create and the direction we take as a company. In many ways, you'll help us identify the biggest challenges facing tattoo artists so we can continue building systems that solve real-world problems. The artists who join during this phase will play a major role in shaping what TattooSkuul becomes over the next several years.
Absolutely. There is more tattoo information available for free today than ever before. You could probably learn how to build a rocket on YouTube if you spent enough time searching. The problem isn't access to information. The problem is organization. Most artists spend years bouncing between videos, collecting random techniques without ever understanding how the pieces fit together. YouTube is primarily a marketing platform, so information is often fragmented and incomplete. TattooSkuul is different because it's a structured learning system. Instead of guessing what to learn next, you'll follow a roadmap built from nearly two decades of real-world experience. Could you eventually figure it all out on your own? Maybe. But it will almost certainly take longer and involve far more trial and error.
Most tattoo education falls into one of two categories. The first teaches beginners how to start tattooing. The second teaches a specific style or niche. TattooSkuul takes a different approach. Rather than teaching isolated techniques, we focus on the principles that govern successful tattooing across every style. Our goal is not simply to teach you what to do, but to teach you how to think. Chris has spent nearly twenty years studying tattooing, art, design, business, and problem-solving. Everything inside TattooSkuul is designed to help you become a stronger artist, a better decision maker, and eventually a more successful professional. Art comes first, but we also recognize that a successful career requires more than just artistic ability.
Yes. The principles taught inside TattooSkuul apply to every style of tattooing. Whether you focus on realism, traditional, neo-traditional, black and grey, color work, anime, illustrative tattoos, or something entirely different, the underlying principles of application, value, contrast, composition, and design remain the same. The goal is to give you a strong foundation that allows you to succeed regardless of which style you choose to pursue.
Not necessarily. The goal isn't to turn you into a clone of Chris Sage. The goal is to help you understand why certain approaches work and why others don't. Some of your current methods may already be producing great results. Others may be holding you back. The purpose of the course is to give you the knowledge necessary to make better decisions for yourself. Understanding creates freedom. Blind imitation does not.
Chris did not consider himself naturally artistic when he started tattooing. In fact, many of the systems inside TattooSkuul were developed specifically because creativity didn't come naturally to him. Over time, he learned that many aspects of art can be broken down into principles, frameworks, and repeatable processes. Some artists are naturally creative but struggle technically. Others are highly technical but struggle creatively. Both can improve. TattooSkuul is designed to help artists strengthen whichever side needs the most work and develop confidence through understanding rather than relying solely on talent.
Consistency is one of the most important skills you'll ever develop, not just in tattooing but in life. The good news is that consistency is not something you're born with. It's something you build. Most artists don't fail because they lack talent. They fail because they stop. The best advice I can give is to create a realistic schedule, stay committed to it, and focus on steady progress over time. Even small improvements made consistently can completely transform your work over the course of a year.
That's completely fine. In fact, many TattooSkuul students will have invested in other educational programs before joining. Our goal isn't to replace everything you've learned. It's to help organize and strengthen your understanding of tattooing. Many courses teach techniques. TattooSkuul focuses on principles. We want you to understand how tattooing works so you can think independently, solve problems on your own, and continue growing long after you've finished the course.
Many artists will begin seeing improvements immediately because the course changes the way they think about tattooing from the very first module. However, improvement ultimately depends on application. Every lesson is designed to improve your understanding, decision-making, and execution, but information alone doesn't create results. The artists who consistently apply what they're learning are the ones who experience the biggest transformations.
Every artist starts somewhere. If you're still building your clientele, there are many ways to gain experience, including tattooing yourself, working with friends and family, offering portfolio-building projects, and creating opportunities to practice responsibly. Some of the best investments I ever made in my career involved doing free tattoos when I wanted to explore a new style or technique. As your skills improve, your confidence grows, your portfolio gets stronger, and attracting clients becomes much easier.
Confidence is usually the result of competence. The more you understand what you're doing and why you're doing it, the less uncertainty you'll feel. TattooSkuul won't magically make you confident overnight, but it will give you a system you can rely on. When you stop guessing and start making deliberate decisions, confidence tends to follow naturally.
The Growth Guarantee™ is simple. We don't want your money unless we provide real value. If you enroll, go through the training, apply the principles, complete the exercises, and genuinely feel that you did not improve or gain meaningful value from the course, we'll refund your investment. We believe in these systems because they're based on real-world experience and principles that have been tested over nearly two decades of tattooing. The only thing we ask is that you actually do the work before deciding whether the system works.
Improvement should always be evaluated on a case-by-case basis because every artist starts from a different place. If you've genuinely applied the principles taught inside the course and still feel stuck, we encourage you to reach out to us. Often the problem isn't a lack of effort but rather a misunderstanding, blind spot, or obstacle that can be addressed with additional guidance. Our goal is not simply to sell courses. Our goal is to help artists improve. If you're struggling, we'll do our best to help identify what's holding you back.
If you've completed the training, applied the principles, and honestly feel that you received no meaningful value from the experience, simply contact us and explain your situation. We'll review your case and determine whether you qualify under our Growth Guarantee™. We believe in treating people fairly and standing behind the promises we make to our students.
TattooSkuul is built for artists who care deeply about their craft, their clients, and their future. The community is made up of people who are committed to growth, open to learning, and willing to put in the work required to improve. Some artists are beginners, some have years of experience, but they all share one thing in common: they refuse to settle for average and are actively working to become better tattoo artists.
Yes. The systems are taught from the ground up and are designed to be easy to follow regardless of experience level. However, TattooSkuul focuses primarily on tattoo application, artistic development, design, and eventually business and entrepreneurial skills. We do not focus heavily on apprenticeship topics such as shop etiquette, bloodborne pathogens, or cross-contamination. Beginners are absolutely welcome, but the greatest results will come from artists who have access to equipment and opportunities to practice consistently.
Absolutely not. Questions are encouraged. In fact, some of the best breakthroughs happen when artists ask questions they were afraid to ask elsewhere. TattooSkuul is built on the belief that growth requires curiosity, humility, and a willingness to learn. Everyone starts somewhere, and every artist deserves to be treated with respect regardless of their current skill level.
Yes. One of the fastest ways to improve as an artist is through honest, constructive feedback. Students will have opportunities to share their work, ask questions, and receive critiques designed to help them improve. The goal is never to tear artists down or make them feel bad about where they are. The goal is to identify opportunities for growth and provide guidance that helps move them forward.
The TattooSkuul community is built around growth, respect, and professionalism. We are not interested in ego, negativity, or making people feel small. We want to create an environment where artists can learn from one another, share experiences, receive support, and build meaningful relationships with other artists who are on the same journey. Everyone is expected to treat others with respect and contribute positively to the community.
Founding Partner includes everything available inside the Founding Member package plus a deeper level of personalized support. In addition to lifetime access to all current and future systems, the private community, weekly Q&A calls, and bonus content, Founding Partners also receive a private onboarding call with Chris Sage, a detailed portfolio review, a personalized action plan, priority feedback during live Q&A sessions, a complimentary seat at our first live event in Miami, and 20% off future TattooSkuul live events. Founding Partner was created for artists who want more direct guidance and accountability as they work through the systems.
Founding Partner is best suited for artists who want personalized feedback and a clearer roadmap for improvement. If you're highly self-directed and comfortable figuring things out on your own, Founding Member may be all you need. However, if you want help identifying blind spots, prioritizing what to work on next, and accelerating your growth, Founding Partner will likely provide significantly more value.
During the onboarding call, Chris will review your current situation, discuss your goals, identify your biggest challenges, and help create a roadmap based on where you are and where you want to go. The goal is to eliminate confusion and help you focus your attention on the areas that will create the greatest improvement in the shortest amount of time.
The portfolio review is designed to provide an honest assessment of your current work. Chris will identify what is working well, where improvement is needed, and which areas deserve the most attention moving forward. Rather than guessing what you should work on next, you'll leave with a much clearer understanding of your strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities for growth.
Every artist is different. Some artists struggle with application, others with composition, creativity, confidence, color, design, or attracting clients. Your personalized action plan is built around your specific goals, strengths, weaknesses, and current level of experience. The goal is to remove guesswork and give you a clear path forward.
For most artists, yes. One of the fastest ways to improve is by receiving feedback from someone who has already solved the problems you're currently facing. Personalized guidance can help you avoid common mistakes, identify blind spots, and focus on the areas that will create the biggest improvements. Results still depend on your willingness to apply what you learn, but direct feedback often shortens the learning curve significantly.
The personalized components of Founding Partner require direct involvement from Chris. In order to provide meaningful feedback and maintain a high level of support, the number of Founding Partner spots may be limited. The goal is not to serve the largest number of people possible. The goal is to provide the highest level of value possible to the artists who choose this option.
If spots remain available, you may have the opportunity to upgrade after enrolling as a Founding Member. However, because Founding Partner includes personalized support and direct access to Chris, availability may become limited as enrollment grows. If you already know you want personalized guidance, it's usually best to secure your spot during the presale period.
Yes. Founding Partners receive one complimentary seat at TattooSkuul's first live event currently planned for 2027 in Miami. Travel and accommodations are not included, but admission to the event itself is covered as part of the Founding Partner package.
Absolutely. One of the biggest discoveries from our survey was that artists across every experience level identified application as a major area of improvement. Even experienced artists develop blind spots over time. Sometimes a single insight can save years of frustration. The portfolio review is designed to uncover those blind spots, identify opportunities for growth, and help you focus on the changes that will have the biggest impact on your work and career.
